Mcdonalds is a extremely popular fast food restaurant all over the world as we all know but in many ways it is regarded as very bad for you. But Mcdonalds do actually have rules about where their food comes from, they don not use poultry or meat from a farm that feeds their animals antibiotics.
The Chickne sold in Mcdonalds is packaged and prepared at Cargill Meats Europe, and Moy Park.
All the beef served at Mcdonalds is 100% Irish. Mcdonalds also only purchase their beef from suppliers that follow strick animal welfare standards.
Although all this information is promising about the nutrition of Mcdonalds i would still advise only eating there on the occasion!

History Of Mcdonalds, Global and Irish!

Mcdonalds is an extremly well known fast food provider all around the world. There are over 30,000 restaurants worldwide with over 50 million people visitin Mcdonalds every day.
Mcdonalds first began with a man named Ray Kroc a milkshake machine salesman, he received a large order one day from a hamburger outlet in california which was the Mcdonalds Brothers corporation, he was perplexed by the how large the order was and decided that he would visit the Mcdonalds brothers in California.
He decided that he could do very well out of Mcdonalds as he liked what he saw on the menu, as the food tasted great.
Ray opened his first Mcdonalds restaurant in Illnois north Chicago, after promising the Mcdonalds brothers that if it was a success they would receive a payment.

Mcdonalds as you probably already know has become a massaive success. There were 200 Mcdonalds around America by 1960.

In Ireland Mike Mehigan opened the first Mcdonalds in 1977. The first was opened on Grafton Street.
There are now over 74 restaurants around the country.

In 1985 the first European drive through opened in Nutgrove Shopping Centre Rathfarnham.

In 2007 Mcdonalds celebrated its 30th birthday!
